Information you add
Maintain lets you record asset names, photographs, serial numbers, purchase and warranty information, maintenance schedules, service history, documents, costs, and notes. This content is entered by you and is used to provide the app’s features.
Storage and iCloud
Records are stored using Apple’s on-device data technologies. When iCloud sync is available and enabled, Apple CloudKit may store and synchronise records between devices associated with your Apple Account. Ahrend Digital Studios does not maintain a separate account database for Maintain.
Permissions
- Camera and photos: used when you choose to add images, scan documents, or scan QR labels.
- Notifications: used for maintenance and warranty reminders you enable.
- Calendar: used only when you choose to add maintenance events.
Analytics and advertising
The current version is designed without advertising SDKs or third-party behavioural tracking. If this changes, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosure will be updated.
Deletion
You can delete individual records within Maintain. Deleting the app removes locally stored app data from that device. Information synchronised through iCloud is governed by your Apple Account and iCloud settings.
